Gaynor is one of the driving forces behind A1K9 and as well as training, spends a lot of time procuring dogs of the right calibre for our many discerning customers.
Gaynor with her previous GSD Rauk, won the associates cup at the British Police and Services Canine Association Trials held at Newbold Revel in 2004. They were placed third overall, this being the first time a protection trophy had been won by a female competitor, an achievement that she is extremely proud of.

In more recent years, A1K9 has started offering obedience and puppy socialization classes under Gaynor's care and control, for dogs and owners local to our facilities and these have proved to be most popular.
This has required her to utilize her skills not only has a dog trainer but as a people trainer imparting her knowledge in a way that people understand to enable them to train their dogs to the best of their ability - a challenge that she enjoys.

In addition to the classes, Gaynor's experience and understanding of canine behaviour, gained her membership of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association and she has become a qualified canine behaviour practitioner allowing her to consult on a wide range of dog behaviour problems. The combination of her experience and expertise, especially with the larger breeds has resulted in owners of problem dogs travelling great distances from all over the UK to enlist her help in rehabilitating their dogs.

Gaynor is also a qualified micro chipper which enables customers attending the puppy socialization and obedience classes to get their dogs micro chipped whilst onsite yet another service available at A1K9!
