Our Training Services
At A1K9, we offer a full range of dog training classes at our facilities, where owners can attend with their dogs and be tutored as part of a group. The dogs get to have some fun free run time with their k9 friends too!

Residential Dog Training
We offer residential training for customers dogs because many people struggle with the fundamentals such as recall, sit, down etc
All dogs need this essential training and if you are struggling to achieve the results you want, we can certainly assist.
Typically, a dog will be with us for 4 weeks, with a specific trainer assigned to them.
At the end of our training, you can expect to see vast improvements in your dog’s response to various commands, such as walking to heel, recall, sit, down, stay etc, both on and off leash.
We provide balanced training that results in a happy dog that is willing to please.
We train all breeds, both large and small, the only reqirement is the dog must be a minimum of 10 months old to enrol and benefit from what we do.

The A1K9 residential obedience training course is desgned for all breeds, the only criteria is that they must be over 10 months of age to enrol.
Security dog and handler training is available to those who work withinn the security sector, including those who might work as part of a clients close protection team.

Every member of our instructor team is well-versed in current legislative requirements governing the use of dogs within commercial sectors, and experienced in offering security dog handler training with the aim of handlers achieving recognised qualifications with their dog.
BIPDT Security Dog Handlers Accreditation
BIPDT Security Dog Handlers Accreditation
The BIPDT security dog handlers accreditation is awarded to a dog and handler team after successful completion of the course and subsequent testing. These accreditations are valid for three years, at which point they must be reassessed.
Our training courses can be tailored to fit in with clients requirements and potential threat which may differ depending on their geographical location.
